   What is bse sensex

  • It is known as S&P BSE sensex india.
  • Sensex comprises of 30 largest and most actively traded stock on the BSE
  • It is the oldest index in INDIA
  • Investor use sensex to observe the overall growth development of industries and booms and boost of indian economy
  • Sensex name  was given by the stock market analyst Deepak  Mohoni.
  •  meaning of sensex is sensitive index
  • In total history of life sensex was crashed only one time 18 april 1952 because of the scam in the stock market.
  • The growth of the sensex comes from 21st century around 3300 and today around 34000.

Bse small cap
A small cap company whose market capitalization of 5000 crore

Bse small cap index in market is roughly around 12000.

Bse mid cap

A mid cap company whose market capitalization is between 5000 to 20000 crore.

Mid cap index is around 14400

Bse Large cap

A large cap company whose market capitalization is more than 20000 crore.

Large cap is around 3800


National stock exchange (Nse)

It is the youngest stock exchange came in 1952.
Mr vikram limaye is MD & CEO of NSE
It introduced advanced electronic trading system which remoed paper based settlement from trading
1993 IT IS REGISTERED AS A STOCK EXCHANGE UNDER SEBI
NIFTY 50 POPULAR India stock indices was introduced by NSE in the same year. It list top 50 companies traded on NSE stock exchange market.
1952 companies are listed in NSE and having a market capitalization of us$ 2.27 trillion
It contains nifty 50, nifty it, mifty bank, nifty next, and part of future & option segment of NSE.

Top companies listed in nifty  yes bank, ibull housing Fin, tata motors, eicher motor, indulsand bank, SBI, bajaj auto,asian paints etc

Calcutta stock exchange (cse)

  • It is a regional stock exchange located at the lyons range, kolkata.
  • In 1980 it was granted permanent recognition by the government of india under the relevant provision of sebi act 1956
  • It is the second oldest stock exchange In sout east asia
  • While 20 regional stock exchange have exited by the sebi it is only regional stock exchange is working in the market.
Metropolitan stock exchange

  • It is recognised by SEBI on 16th sep 2008 and is valid till 15 sep 2019.
  • It offers a high tech platform to trade in capital market, futures & options, currency derivatives, debt market segment of indian market.
  • Shareholders of mse include indian public sector bank, private sector bank, investor bank. but subjected to CAG audit.

India international exchange

  • IIE opened in jan 2017 india inx is india’s first international stock exchange.
  • It is wholly owned subsidary of BSE and is located at the international financial service centre (IFSC), gift city gujarat.
  • It is claimed to be the world’s most advanced technological platform with a time of 4 microsecond which opertaes 22 hour a day and six days a week.
  • Because of timing international and NRI can trade anywhere across the globe at their timings.
  • It links indian and foreign issues to connect globally.

Nse ifsc ltd

  • It is incorporated on 29 nov 2016 and is wholly owned subsidary of the NSE and is located at thw IFSC gift city in gujarat.
  • It has been launched to grow the financial market as well expected to bring capital into india. Here securities can be buy and sold other then indian currency.
  • NSE IFSC conducts 16 hours of daily trading and expanded as per market feedback.
  • Currently two trading sessions are conducted
  • First betwee 8am to 5pm
  • Second 5:30 pm to 11:30 pm.
